SignalComment visibility guide

Independent reading desk · no lookup on this page

Read the public window.
Keep the conclusion small.

A useful comment check starts with the exact comment, not a theory about an entire account. This original guide helps you choose the next step without sending another comment or changing several settings at once.

01 · Identify one comment

A video address names a video. It does not identify every comment below it. Use a comment permalink containing lc=, or the exact comment ID, in the checker. Confirm that you copied the intended comment before interpreting an empty result.

Keep private account details out of a public troubleshooting message. You do not need to post a new comment, sign in through this guide, or pay for the check.

02 · Separate absence from uncertainty

An exact identifier returned by the public API supports a narrow observation at its displayed time. It does not prove that every watch-page visitor sees the comment in the same order.

A missing identifier leaves several explanations open, including a wrong ID, removal or visibility restrictions. It is not a channel-wide shadowban verdict. A quota, access or timeout error is a failed observation; it should not be read as evidence that a comment is absent.

03 · Choose one next check

  1. Confirm the exact permalink or ID and read the displayed observation time. A bounded cache can reuse an earlier observation.
  2. Compare the comment in a normal signed-out view, if available. Sorting, conversation context and account state can differ.
  3. If the evidence remains unclear, keep the result as unknown. Use YouTube's own account and moderation information for questions the public lookup cannot answer.

The boundary of this desk

This page contains original instructions, no API lookup, live API result, comment text, author data or YouTube player. It does not diagnose moderation reasons or private account restrictions. Its advertising choice does not unlock the checker or change a result.
